Female – Terrier
Pinky was adopted from Chicago ACC over a year ago and then given up by her owner. Poor Pinky was relinquished to Friends of Chicago Animal Control/Animal Care Center, which was when a large scarring on her neck was noticed. Pinky’s prior owner inappropriately and over-used a prong collar causing her neck to have multiple wounds and need healing time. Found was made aware of Pinky’s story and knew we could help re-train and rehabilitate Pinky to get her back on the right path.
Pinky has been rehabilitated, her neck has healed and she is ready to find her forever home! She is very kind, sweet, and relaxed. Pinky is a volunteer favorite. After every walk or playtime she has with a volunteer, they fall in love with Pinky. She is 3 years old, and good on the leash. Pinky is a great girl looking for her new family!
